Peggy Hubbard is the Washington Elite’s worst nightmare. She’s a Navy Veteran, former police officer, Harley Davidson enthusiast, and a Republican who boldly speaks the truth.
Her entrance into politics is indicative of her lifelong battle for truth, justice, and mission to bring a hopeful future to the forgotten communities in Illinois.
Hello, my name is Tim Arview and I am running for United States Senate because I have committed myself to joining that resistance. I am committing to the fight against tyranny and the unjust abuse of power that has gone on in this state for far too long.
It is time for the people of Illinois to speak truth to power and say that we cannot and will not submit to their unconstitutional system of controls. We are free citizens and we demand that liberty.
My friends, we have yet to have our proper representation in Washington. Our current U.S. Senators are too busy looking for ways to pander to their base to be concerned with the business of legislation.
My mission’s simple: Put our children, communities and state first over the blinding, cynical politics that pits neighbor against neighbor in an endless, downward spiral of hate. I’ve looked death in the face while fighting cancer for four years of my life. I saw firsthand how low a person can go. But I’m here to tell you that tomorrow will always be better. Tomorrow, we can win the day. Tomorrow, we can reconcile our differences while bettering our community. And tomorrow, we can move forward together.
I am a fifth generation Illinoisan, who was born, raised, and now lives in Petersburg, a mile from where President Abraham Lincoln first entered politics. Lincoln has always filled my imagination as our nation’s greatest political example of moral leadership, and I am running for Governor because our state should be exceptional, but our politics are terrible – I want to make Illinois a “shining city on a hill” that Lincoln would be proud of.
My experience building a business and raising my family in Illinois has prepared me to take on the challenges we face. I'm the true outsider who can bring real reform to Springfield and bring back the Illinois American Dream. I hope you'll join me!
Defunding police and taking guns from "law abiding" people will only embolden the criminals as they don't follow laws so taking away, enacting gun laws or restricting guns from those that will follow laws will not solve the problem.
Illinois Secretary of State’s Office
The Illinois Secretary of State’s Office touches the lives of more Illinoisans and businesses than any other executive branch office.
My first elected office was McLean County Coroner where I learned that approximately 300 Illinois residents die each year waiting for vital organ transplants. For my work towards reducing this number, I was honored by different organ and tissue agencies.
